Who Is Your Spouse?
As we hope you did for yourself in Part II, your answer should address your mate’s background including the impact of influencers:
- The Entertainment Industry,
- The Media,
- Madison Avenue,
- Religion,
- Schools,
- Family,
- Work, and
- Friends,
and Life Experiences. You should also write down likes, dislikes, and how he/she deals with people and situations.
The objective here is to catalog the characteristics that come to mind when you think about your spouse, and the things you think may be behind them.
Hopefully, many of their characteristics are good and positive - things that attracted you to them in the first place. However, some may not, in your view, be good, and may be contributing to the problems you are having. These may be things that you knew they brought with them into your marriage, or may have come out or developed after you were married.
