Why Try and Save Our Marriage?

Certainly there are some people who enter marriage for totally wrong reasons: lust, security, money, escape, etc. The fact of the matter is that most people are not fully prepared for the huge emotional, financial, and lifestyle impact.

No matter how you got into it, and no matter how bad things seem now, the fact remains that you are married, a lifetime commitment you made to your partner, yourself, the state, and to God.  Before you despair, the good news is that, even now, your marriage can still be the most rewarding and fulfilling part of your life.

You might be thinking at this point that the problem is your spouse.  It may be, and then again it may be you, or most likely, both of you. You need to keep an open mind as you read the material on this site.  Being a good spouse is a learned skill, and it entails taking a good, hard look at yourself as the first step.
