PART II - YOU (The Outside Influencers)

The Media

Newspapers, radio, TV, and the internet have the potential of educating us regarding current events and topical issues.  Unfortunately, what we get as news is often slanted by the greed, immaturity, prejudices, and interests of reporters and executives.

The packaging is impressive which adds credence to the material.  TV journalists are typically attractive people.  Radio reporters have  extraordinary voices. Newspaper print has time-honored authority.

However, unless we are diligent in applying sound practical judgment to the media, we are apt to be misled in the same way, and for many of the same reasons, as we are by Hollywood.

How has the media influenced your behaviors or attitudes?  How do you feel about what you’ve written?  What impact do you see on your marriage?
