The Entertainment Industry

After family, the influencer with the greatest impact on people in our society is arguably the entertainment industry.  People today spend tremendous amounts of time consuming TV, Movies, and Music.

With few exceptions, the people behind these products are motivated by money, and increasingly an agenda (promiscuity, homosexuality, etc.) in what they feed the public.

Sex, violence, and materialism - uninhibited self-gratification - appeal to our base instincts, and they are portrayed in entertainment as fun, hip, and consequence-free.  Unfortunately, the constant bombardment of the public with these products has overwhelmed the voices of sanity. 

Many people today are paying the price for buying into the entertainment industry’s messages.  Huge debt, unwanted pregnancies, venereal disease, AIDS, abortion, divorce, etc. and the pain and suffering that go along with these are rampant.
